1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CanadaMart platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms govern your use of the Platform as both a registered user and a visitor.
2. Platform Description
CanadaMart is a B2B online marketplace that connects Canadian buyers of commercial cleaning and facility supplies with verified Canadian suppliers. We facilitate connections and quote requests but are not a party to any transaction between buyers and suppliers.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may register as a buyer or supplier. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers agree to: submit only genuine, business-related RFQs; provide accurate information about their sourcing needs; respond to supplier quotes in good faith; comply with all applicable Canadian laws when purchasing products.
5. Supplier Responsibilities
Suppliers agree to: provide accurate and truthful business and product information; respond to matched RFQs in a timely and professional manner; fulfill orders as quoted and agreed; comply with all applicable Canadian laws governing their business; maintain the accuracy of their platform profile.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent the Platform to conduct business outside it in bad faith; post spam, offensive, or irrelevant content; impersonate another business or individual.
7. Platform Role
CanadaMart facilitates connections between buyers and suppliers. We are not a distributor, agent, or broker in any transaction. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any products listed or quoted through the Platform.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanadaMart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any transactions facilitated through it.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will provide notice of material changes on the Platform.
